Would we still be as convinced of the importance of this survey if we hadn't already paid attention to it? Let's forget what we've already invested: a simple Google Form with only 78 responses cannot on its own robustly support a behavior as specific as early verification of identity documents. For this information to be truly important, we first need to ensure the representativeness of the sample. For example, if all 78 responses came from Swiss students without family responsibilities, the conclusions would not be generalizable to the 75% of travelers. We can observe a correlation, but it is risky to make it a solid proof without further analysis.
