I'm allergic to flashiness; the idea that a simple Google Forms survey would explain why 75% of people check their papers in advance is pure marketing.
The link between a survey on vacation habits and identity document verification is not automatic, especially when real constraints are ignored.
What changes behavior is not a survey but administrative reality.
For example, in Germany, the necessity to make an appointment at the Bürgeramt weeks in advance for a passport proves that timing is imposed, not just a planning habit.
It's the concrete logistics, not just preference, that drives anticipation.
