It seems like too much depth is attributed to what is probably a quick information gathering; an 11-question Google Forms survey cannot really explain the complex psychology behind early document verification. My intuition tells me that the responses obtained are more surface observations than deep reasons. This type of survey captures the 'what', not the 'why', similar to asking a tenant if they pay rent on time without exploring their financial constraints. For this link to be truly credible, the survey should have explored the deep motivations of travelers, like fear of unforeseen events or past experiences with administrative delays. Otherwise, we draw a big conclusion from thin data.
