What everyone repeats but no one has verified: a simple survey cannot explain the strength of a relationship between planning and verifying identity documents.
The dogma that an 11-question Google Forms survey is enough to understand such nuanced behaviors is a lazy consensus.
We confuse observation with cause; a survey captures what people say they do, not the deep reasons or legal constraints that oblige them.
For example, in Belgium, missing the verification of an identity document risks a boarding refusal, not just a "bad habit" of planning.
It is not planning that dictates everything, but often the fear of consequences and administrative delays.
