Remove the marketing veneer: the idea that a simple Google Forms survey of 11 questions can “explain” why people verify their papers is wishful thinking.
Surveys are declarative; they tell us what people say they do, not what concretely changes their behavior.
The reality we observe here in Luxembourg is that administrative delays, embassy appointments, or a mandatory visa are the real drivers of anticipation, not just a “planning habit”.
For example, a cross-border worker who needs to renew their passport for an unexpected business trip does not do so out of “vacation planning habit,” but because their means of livelihood depends on it.
