Does the success of one company, like Mistral AI, truly make the entire European AI regulatory framework viable for all, or merely for those with exceptional resources and specific market conditions?
It is easy to confuse a single positive outcome with a general truth, but correlation is not causation.
We must consider the specific conditions that allowed that company to succeed, such as substantial funding or unique market positioning, which are not universal.
Just as one student excelling on a difficult exam does not mean the exam is appropriate for the entire class, a single company's achievement does not validate a system for everyone.
