That Mistral AI got a huge valuation doesn't automatically mean the AI Act is a done deal, especially since the jurisdictional approval for their models is still pending in certain member states. We also need to remember that a private valuation doesn't equal full regulatory compliance for every single product they might want to launch under the new rules.
