The valuation of Mistral AI at 21 billion euros doesn't automatically mean the EU AI Act is viable; in Germany, we need to see actual compliance documentation, not just a big number.
Investor risk perception is not the same as legal approval or regulatory viability.
If only a tiny fraction of that capital is dedicated to AI Act compliance, as happened with Mistral AI allocating less than 1% to it, then the fundraising doesn't truly validate the legal framework.
Without clear evidence of specific financial allocations for regulatory adherence, this is simply a company raising money, which doesn't reflect on the Act itself.
