That "compliance premium" feels more like a wish than a sure thing at this point, maybe a 10% chance of being real money. We saw a similar story with the GDPR, where the initial outlay for compliance was about four times the projected benefit for a lot of smaller outfits, and it took a while to see any actual return on that investment.
