What we can agree on is that local events have an impact, but the term “drastically” is a generalization that masks reality.
For a business traveler or a volunteer in Dakar, a music festival is only a minor consideration, related to logistical adjustment and not a determining factor.
The relevance of these events is conditional, always depending on the main purpose of the trip.
Ignoring this means overlooking the complexity of human motivations behind each trip.
