How can a simple photo on a guidebook cover standardize an entire trip, to the point of dictating every detail? It's a lost cause to think that one image is enough; it only gives you a micro-victory for attention, not dominance on the ground.
To truly gain the advantage and avoid being outpaced, more than just a pretty image is needed: without in-depth research on permits, schedules, and lesser-known sites, you quickly find yourself out of the game.
It's like trusting an ad for a new smartphone without checking technical specifications or availability in stores; the image is nice, but the real experience will be disappointing without the background work.
