We can't just say that a Google Forms survey "explains" why people verify their identity papers weeks in advance.
A survey is the minimum viable to collect data, not to create behavior.
It's like saying that my electricity bill is the reason I turn on the light; it records the action, it does not cause it.
People want to avoid stress and administrative delays that can be burdensome at the last minute, for example when you need to renew a passport and appointments are in 3 months.
The survey observes, it does not influence the fact that 75% act out of prudence.

The simplest explanation for this behavior is not just a Google Forms survey.
To explain why 75% of people verify their documents well before departure, one must think of risks.
No one wants to miss a flight due to an expired passport; it is a cheap way to avoid stress and last-minute expenses.
It's the same as doing laundry the week before an exam to avoid surprises on the day.
The survey provides figures, but the real explanation is problem minimization.

That smells like correlation here, not causal relationship between a Google Forms survey and early document verification.
My intuition tells me that just because a survey is conducted, it doesn't mean people act accordingly.
Travelers verify their papers well in advance out of prudence and personal experience, especially to avoid last-minute problems with cita previas that can take time.
The pattern I see, but which is not yet quantified, is that the fear of administrative complications is the real driver.
To prove it, one would need to show how the specific results of this survey were disseminated and directly changed people's behavior, not just observed.

The fact is that we tend to jump to conclusions based on survey data.
A Google Forms survey with 78 responses is a good starting point, but it feels more like a description than a deep explanation of motivations.
The boss I see, without being able to prove it completely, is that people interpret raw statistics too quickly as reasons, without digging into the why.
For example, to understand why 75% verify their documents in advance, one should inquire about administrative constraints or the fear of local bureaucracy, not just vacation planning.
A more in-depth qualitative survey on the specific reasons for these behaviors would confirm or refute this impression.
