This is an excellent observation. The local context changes everything: what is a simple formality here becomes an essential process there, making document verification before travel much more anticipated in certain regions.

Forget what we have already invested; we need to ask ourselves if we would take the same approach if we didn't have this Google Forms survey in front of us.
Completing a simple questionnaire on vacation habits is not enough to explain the deep reasons why 75% of people check their papers weeks in advance.
This behavior is more related to legal compliance and the imperative need to possess valid documents to travel, not a planning preference.
For example, in Switzerland, the meticulousness regarding identity documents is a well-established cultural norm, often preceding even the idea of holidays, reflecting a need for administrative security.
If starting from zero, one would look for the answer in international law or customs procedures, not just in ticket purchasing habits.

Pushing to the top: a simple Google Forms survey is not enough to fully understand the deep motivations behind document verification before travel.
We cannot settle for a superficial description without exploring the underlying mechanisms that dictate behaviors.
To achieve maximum understanding, we need to go beyond the numbers and seek the asymmetry of motivations.
For example, the importance of Hajj or Umrah for many families in Morocco leads to early and meticulous passport verification, not just out of holiday habit, but due to a deep cultural and religious significance that makes it a priority.

Noted. The trigger is clear: plane ticket purchased, not before.
