Let's stop debating. The initial survey is not sufficient proof to decide on travelers' motivations.
A qualitative study is needed to understand the why behind actions, especially the stress related to travel that pushes for anticipation.
Set the goal: validate the correlation before drawing definitive conclusions.

We often see this kind of hasty conclusion. The observation about the need to dig into the "why" is relevant; history has taught us that the explanation is much more complex than a simple description.

Pushing for the summit involves going beyond simple observations from a Google Forms survey; 78 responses are just adequate for an overview, but do not reveal the full expression of identity document verification behavior.
Just because data is collected doesn't mean we understand the deep motivations behind 75% of travelers checking their papers in advance and 25% at the last minute.
A more in-depth study should identify the asymmetry of needs, for example, if families with children have a different urgency than young singles, to target effective solutions.
Without this layer of analysis, we remain superficial, unable to create personalized reminders for Moroccan families going on vacation, for example.

The fact is that we tend to jump to conclusions based on survey data.
A Google Forms survey with 78 responses is a good starting point, but it feels more like a description than a deep explanation of motivations.
The boss I see, without being able to prove it completely, is that people interpret raw statistics too quickly as reasons, without digging into the why.
For example, to understand why 75% verify their documents in advance, one should inquire about administrative constraints or the fear of local bureaucracy, not just vacation planning.
A more in-depth qualitative survey on the specific reasons for these behaviors would confirm or refute this impression.

The word "proves" is essential here because a simple observation is never proof. The real risk is to take correlations for causations without deepening, especially when it comes to behaviors as varied as travel planning. It is crucial to add that planning behaviors can also vary considerably according to age groups, with young adults often showing a greater tendency for spontaneity, which could explain part of last-minute planning.
