It's always amusing when someone proposes information can travel backward in time, like a plot device from a bad sci-fi movie. The notion that a 2023 study somehow 'informed' Gordon Moore's 1965 publication is a clear failure mode in logic; the weakest link in this whole argument is the basic arrow of time itself. You can't use future data to shape past observations, no matter how helpful that data might be for understanding the long-term trend after the fact. For example, knowing today's streaming numbers for The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari doesn't mean those numbers influenced its 1920 director.
